University of Teramo (UniTE) develops research and higher education activities in two main areas of excellence, humanities (law, politics and communication sciences), and scientific ones (agriculture, food, veterinary medicine, biotechnology) organised in 5 Faculties, 19 Degree Programmes, 12 post-graduation/specialisation masters. Innovative educational paths are implemented based on job market needs at regional, national and international level and by close interaction with key stakeholders. The Faculty of Bioscience and Technology for Food Agriculture and Environment of UniTE, develops undergraduate and (International) Master degree in Food Science and Technology, both accredited by the EQAS-Food label ( https://www.iseki-food.net/accredidation) and carries out research in various disciplines within a “Food system” framework. Internationalisation (EU, extra-EU) is a key element set within the Erasmus+ programme and by bilateral agreements (eg. US, Mediterranean countries, South America, East-Asian countries). It is underpinned by integrating the ministerial grants for student mobility with UniTE funds.

The Department of Food Science and Technology is organised in 2 institutes (Food Technology, Food Sciences) and is the major Austrian research institute for food technology and is an experienced and reliable partner with universities and industries. DLWT thematic scope includes: product development, quality and safety management, (bio)chemical, physical, (micro)biological and sensory characterisation of food, nature and properties of enzymes.

University of Hohenheim is the leading Higher Education institution on Agri-food study programmes. It runs world-class research and modern teaching closely interconnected at students and researchers that receive numerous prizes each year. Its graduates are young professionals who are much in demand. UHOH cultivates international partnerships with universities and other research institutes in over 90 countries around the world. Furthermore, the university manages an array of individual research partnerships, has a well-established collaboration with industry and associations, is a member of the EuroLeague for Life Sciences. Five research stations, four state institutes and five research centers enable intensive, inter-disciplinary and practice-oriented research in situ. Currently, more than 10000 students attend a total of 41 courses of study in the fields of "General and Applied Natural Sciences“, "Agricultural Sciences" and "Economic and Social Sciences“. They cherish their "easy access campus".

Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is a newly-established public university, which was founded on December 2003. CUT has five faculties and 10 academic departments, able to offer education and high level research, in primary branches of science and applied technology, at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. 2018 rankings by Times Higher Education, position CUT at the top young universities worldwide and only 2nd in EU13 universities. The Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science is a multidisciplinary department of plant, animal and food scientists been recently externally evaluated as highly competitive with excellent profile and strong international relationships.

Wageningen University & Research is comprised of one faculty that is divided into five departments of which the fundamental research is conducted by chair groups. The university has a focus specifically on the theme ‘healthy food and living environment’, and is working closely together with governments and the business community. Wageningen University offers 19 BSc and 36 MSc programmes in the field of economy and society, health, life sciences and technology, nature and environment, animals and plants.

The Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology at the University of Zagreb is the leading institution in the Republic of Croatia in terms of science, research and education in the fields of biotechnology, food technology and nutrition science. The Faculty's mission in science and research is to conduct basic, applied and experimental research in interdisciplinary science fields of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition along with related scientific disciplines. Through new ideas and technological solutions, critical thinking and creativity, the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology has become the key initiator of economy and sustainable development in the fields of biotechnical sciences in the Republic of Croatia.

2. Disruptive Training Solutions: we supported CoE in the Living Library Methodologies and are experts in (a) games and gamification; (b) reverse mentoring; (c) PLEF standards:
3. Business Incubation and Growth Hacking: jointly with a network of EU-based incubators we study and develop innovative models to support start-up and scale-up of innovative companies, with a special focus on the agri-food sector.

Futopedia Consulting provides a unique expertize on Technology Impact and Risk Assessments  (including adequacy of governance and resources) for innovation projects and programs in the GreenTech, FoodTech and BioTech, in view of minimizing risks of investments in the Bio-economy, a major pillar of growth for Europe and beyond.

CRE.THI.DEV is a non-profit organization which focuses on research, as well as development of studies and action plans, mainly in the fields of life-long learning, quality, technology transfer, environmental protection, employment and local development in a wide range of economic sectors. The company organizes and promotes training courses, studies and research projects, participates in European projects, cooperates with universities, companies, government and local authorities, technological centers and organizations, vocational training centers and business associations, focusing on promotion and diffusion of knowledge, technology and innovation to companies.

CRE.THI.DEV derives its strengths from its members who have great experience on a broad spectrum of fields and working environments. CRE.THI.DEV., has participated in many nationally and EU funded research and education projects on subjects such as food, leather, footwear, clothing, and environment. CRETHIDEV, in particular has already in 13 Erasmus+ projects, one of which, including a project regarding food safety (FoodQA), as well as EEA Grants projects and an INTERREG-MED project, most of which involve countries inside and outside the EU.
